FAQ

  • Yes—whomever is treatment will be cleared at that time. A back to school form will be provided if needed.

  • Safer for families, no harsh chemicals, works with super lice, effective with combing.

  • No—lice only live on humans.

  • Itchiness is an allergic reaction to the saliva which can linger post treatment. (Note: only 50% of people are allergic so be sure to get checked even if no itch)

  • Lice crawl and spread when hair comes into direct contact aka head to head. It can also happen from sharing brushes, hats or hair accessories. Note: Lice do NOT jump, fly or swim.

  • No—focus on treating the hair. Lice die in 24 hours & eggs don’t survive off the scalp. Items in contact (pillowcase, sheets, bath towel) can go in a hot dryer for 30 minutes. Put brushes in the dishwasher. Use a sticky link roller on fabric (couches, stuffed animals, etc.)

  • Nits (aka lice eggs) are tan to brown and stick to hair; dandruff is white or yellowish and flakes off.

  • Yes— It’s recommended to check those in contact with the child confirmed to have lice to prevent re-infestation.

  • Follow ups with our natural treatment spray will prevent re-infestation. Follow up info will be provided post treatment.

  • Reach out to those in contact with the confirmed lice carrier. Family, friends, classmate parents, etc.

  • We can guide at-home support options.
